This project was started during the year 2002 at Nehru Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital with the objective to identify the role of homoeopathy in the treatment psychiatric disorders.

There were 74 reporting cases during the period 1st April 2004 to 31st December 2004. The maximum cases (30) were of anxiety neurosis. Moderate improvement was in 39 patients, marked in 9 cases and mild improvement in 4 cases. The prescription was on constitution, reportorial and presenting complaints.
